নানুর- Nanoor (Called Chandidas Nanoor) is a village with a police station,community development block and a assembly constituency in Bolpur Sub-Division of Birbhum district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Nanoor is the birthplace of 14^th century vaishnav poet Chandidas of Vaishnava Padavali fame.

ভৌগোলিকঃ- Nanoor is located at 23.70 N 87.86 E

Nanoor is located in the South-Eastern corner of the district which is an alluvial plain between Ajay River and Mayrakshi River. It has hot and dry summers,spread over March-June, followed by the monsoon from June to September. 82 percent of the rainfall occurs during this period. It is 47 km from Suri, 18 km from Bolpur/Santiniketan, 29 m from Ahamadpur and 7 km from Kirnahar.Nanoor Block consists of the following gram panchayats: Bara Saota, Daskalgram-Kraya-1,Daskalgram-Karya-2,ChandidasNanoor,Kiranahar-1,Kirnahar-2,Thupsara,Uchkaran,Charkalgram, Jalundi, Nawnagar and kadda.

যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্হাঃ- কলকাতা(হাওড়া, শিয়ালদহ) থেকে ট্রেনে শান্তিনিকেতন ষ্টেশন। সেখান থেকে বাসে(কীর্ণাহারগামী অথবা কাটোয়াগামী) অথবা ট্যাক্সিতে ৪৫ মিনিটের রাস্তা।

হাওড়া থেকে বোলপুর-শান্তিনিকেতন আসার জন্য ট্রেনঃ-

১) হাওড়া –দারভাঙ্গা প্যাসেন্জার(২০৯) – হাওড়া ছাড়ার সময় প্রতিদিন সকাল ৭টা ১৫ মিনিটে, এবং বর্ধমানে ছাড়ার সময় সকাল ৯টা ৩৭ মিনিটে বোলপুর পৌছবে- সকাল ১১টায়, ভাড়া – ৩৮ টাকা।
